That is so awesome! I hope you take some pictures of them in their new mansion!
I'll have to take some photos, too. I rearranged my plants, again. Also, while the old growth of my wisteria is looking pretty hellish, the new sprouts it's shot up are amazing! I will slowly trim away the LFS leaves as the new growth fills in. I just hope I can train it to grow in a bush instead of a long stalk.

Heres photos of my babies in their as you put it mansion hehe I would really love to get a nice large centrepiece ornament to put in the middle of the aquarium as I feel that the tank still fills empty nothing is their too fill it up the bottom is so busy but nothing goes on in the rest of the tank
Btw you'll be able too get the wisteria too grow perfectly your a pro at keeping fish and plants alike don't doubht your fish prowess hehe how goes all the fish btw

I have very sad news the catfish above my baby Suzy decided too dine on half an earwig that Frankie had half eaten an I fear it was to large a mouthful for her and she choked I didn't think fish were capable of choking but now I know and the day before christmas she didn't even get too enjoy her blood worms I bought for a treat for christmas day
Just curious is it common for fish too choke on food because their is no other reason for her too just die she was happy healthy no sign if illness round belly not too round so not bloated as it was almost immediately after eating the live insect she went into a spaz started shooting all over the tank flaring her spikes that are hidden under the gills and than almost immediately after stopped moving

Hm. That is unfortunate, and you have my sincerest of condolences.
As for choking, anything with a digestive tract can choke. I've never fed any of my critters land-bugs, before. I do know that earwigs are spiky. If your other fish eat them with no issues, I wouldn't suspect that this one was contaminated. If this fish had never eaten an earwig before, I might even suspect some sort of allergic reaction. My aunt's old dog was allergic to meat. Yep. Allergic to MEAT.

One of my ghost shrimp is so incredibly laden with eggs that I am baffled as to how she can still move around. I should warn you, this is all I'm going to be able to talk about for the next three weeks! I will try to score some pictures.

so I the other day I was looking at aquascaping stuff and hated my original design lol. It's my first tank and I thought my original was good too!
I decided to look on fishlore for aquascape! Love how you call it tank envy its so true I feel the same way.
this is my first lay out!
and this is my new one!
Though I literally deconstructed my whole tank today and redid it... I still have too ad black sand to the rock and wood area but I dunno wat else to add for depth. Everytime I look at those vids I feel discouraged!

Both of your layouts look great! Sadly, my tank is in a state of flux, as I wait for the wisteria to figure out what it wants to do. Lol!

Yeah! Forget the light-warping fish bowl. Blech! Here is a tiny, 1 gallon haven for my momma shrimp! Short-leaf elodea and some fake plant give her places to hide. A giant sponge filter will keep the place nice and cycled. She will stay in here until her eggs hatch. Then she can go back to the big tank. Her babes will have a nice, predator-free home until they are big enough to fend for themselves. Whee!

Tank envy! Here's mah suave 10 gallon tank, rockin' my Amazon sword, Windelov Java ferns, and my gangly wisteria. Everything is settling, nicely.
Ladybug the nerite has been joined by Tigger the nerite, who just happens to be a female. I found this out as the egg deposit rate on my gorgeous mopanI has doubled. I would prefer they'd lay upon the glass, as it is easier to clean. Apparently, they like the mopanI as I do. Oh. They also lay eggs all over my mystery snail's shell.
The two albino corydoras, Zoidberg and Little Butt, are doin' what they do best: snoofling out food and obliviously barrelling headlong into the roaming herds of ghost shrimp.
Alpha, my last high fin black skirt tetra thinks he is a betta, complete with crazy huge fins. They actually keep growing, like fingernails. It is really weird. He has two markings on his jaw that I would be fearful of, considering his cancerous and deceased brethren, if I hadn't seen him face-plant the glass top in an overzealous attempt at beating the shrimp to the blood worms.
My blue mystery snail, He Whose Name Shall Not Be Spoken, is still chuggin' along. He still has his giant and seemingly catastrophic shell deformity isn't slowing him down a bit. I have him trained to come up to the front top of the tank at dinner time so I can give him his own foodbits. He holds his own versus the goofy cories, but I enjoy the interaction.
My shrimp larvae experiment failed with a tragic end. When I removed the mother from the tank, the cycle crashed and the increase in nitrites killed the little babes overnight. Of course, I have now solved the mystery of why having a snail in the hatchery is a good idea. Their consistent waste output sustains the nitrogen cycle. I have a new plan for the next time my females berry up. I am confident my breeder net would have worked in the first place. The shrimp larvae would not have fit through the fine mesh.

LOVE Pennywort!
It's looking great.
I figure, as long as I like how it looks and the fish are healthy and happy, it doesn't matter if it's perfectly aquascaped or fits our exact of what it should be.
We can all dream of creating scapes like Tom Barr &James Findley, but saying that, I think your tank looks great.
The hardscape is lush. Nice job! Can't wait to see it fill out.xx
Ps. You can never go over board with plants, in my opinion
