Tank Dripping From Top

So my tank is a 32.7 gallon that I got from a friend. It's pretty old and I think it was custom build as it is a strange size. When I got it the silicone was junk so I re-did all of that by myself. Has been set up since the beginning of June and has no issues there. However there is a small crack in the top plastic thing that water drips out of right onto the glass on the front and center of the tank. I definitely do not think there is a structural issue and this definitely isn't a threatening issue it just is leaving ugly water marks down the front of my tank.

there is not much water loss at all. Just enough that over about a week there are water streaks on the glass. Is there any way I can fix this easily? Note: my tank is not a standard shape I cannot just replace the top rim

I've got a photo here but it is still hard to see, this was the best I could do You can kind of see the water marks right below the brown rI'm in the middle

How high is your water filled in your tank?

Is that the water line about a 1/2 inch below the plastic trim?

Yes that is the water line a half inch below the trim it is generally right at the bottom of the trim however I had just done a grave vaccuuming right before I took that photo lol

The glass goes about an inch higher than the bottom of the trim. Then there is a lip where the trim goes on top of the glass. I'm thinking the water evaporation is just going up under that edge of the trim and through the small crack in it

I'm not sure then. I had an issue where I overfilled my tank and the water would run down the outside of the glass from behind the plastic trim. But if your water level is only to the bottom of the trim the only other thing I could think is that the glass may be cracked in the same spot behind the trim.

The glass definitely isn't cracked I've checked for that very carefully.... I really think since its just a loose spot in the trim that's were all the splashed up and evaporated water is coming down...

Very well could be.

You could try and put a drip edge on the lid. Just before the lid touches/mounts on the rim, place a piece of tape that has an edge on it. Think upside down "T". You would have to run it the whole length.
The idea is to stop the condensation from getting to the edge, it will drip at the T first.

That's interesting I've never heard of that. I'll probably try it thanks
