Tank Divider for Fry

I am getting more into breeding fish (or at least raising the ones that I get without me doing anything) and I'm looking for a tank divider for my 10 gallon that I could use to separate different groups of fry. The holes would need to be really tiny so that fry couldn't fit through. Is there even such a thing? If there were, would the tiny holes prevent sufficient water flow through each section? I could DIY a divider... any thoughts?

To DIY it all you would need is a very fine mesh or net. Not unlike the ones used for shrimp nets. Than wrap it so it would cut of the part of the tank you want isolated. Than you could use rocks to weight down the bottom and twine to secure the edges.

Many different types. These are usually found anywhere even department stores **** pet sections

Sorry, I should clarify. I'm looking to use the 10 gallon for fry only, but I'd like to keep the different species separate (i.e. guppy fry in one section, platy fry in another, etc.). The adult fish will remain in their main tanks. I currently have about 30 guppy fry of various ages, and due to necessity they are mixed in one grow out tank. Since they are different strains I would prefer to keep them in separate sections of a 10 gallon. It seems easier than setting up more than one grow out tank with separate filters, heaters, etc.

The mesh is an idea, thanks.

30 guppies of all ages in a 10 gallon weather it is divided 1-2-3-4-5-6 times it's still going to be overrun in a very short time. I have 20 "various size" guppies in a heavily planted 20 long and it looks cramped. Aside from the fact the plants need a serious trimming

I figured it would be okay because they will only be kept in there until they are about 1 month old, after which I will put them back in the tanks with the adults. I just don't want them to be eaten when they're tiny. My thought process was that it's better than putting them in a breeder box. They'll have more space of their own and have substrate, plants, etc.
