20 Gallon Tank Tank divider for betta fish

Hello everyone!
I have a 20 gallons tank with a male betta fish, 4 albino corys, 5 harlequin rasboras and 3 nerite snails.
I have had so bad experience with the tank mates I have brought these last months (neon tetras nipped betta and corys, molly fish nipped betta and corys and betta killed 2 of 5 ember tetras).
Today I decided to bring 5 harlequin rasboras and also put a tank divider to avoid any fight, so now betta fish is alone with 1 nerite snail. Was it a good decision? Is it ok to have a tank divider? It is fine the size I left for betta fish? Thank you!

Looks okay for all of the fish but the corys and the molly. Is it possible to get the betta it's own separate 5 gallon tank so that the other fish could have the whole 20 gallon?

I don’t think I can get another tank right now :( maybe later yes. Currently the options are, either let them be together again and take another risk of aggression, or keep the tank divider in there

I don’t think there is anything wrong with having a tank divider, I would just make sure the betta has a good amount of space.

Well in that case, you're current set up should be fine. Just monitor them for a bit to make sure everyone has got enough space.

Thank you! How can I make sure the spaces are ok? I just calculated the water volume in the betta fish space: 6 gallons
