I am planing on making a 75 gallon long fish tank and stand with space for my 40 long under it. here is some plans I drew up for it

plan of the frame for the stand

and a plan of what I want it to look like when it is finished.
for the stand I was thinking of using 4x4s for the frame and then raping it in mdf and painting it. for the tank I was thinking of using plywood and glass I still need to work out what thickness of plywood and glass I will need for it. I will be putting my stock from my 40 long in the 75 long I am also planing on dividing the 40 long in to a 20 gallon and two 10 gallons so I can have my tiger barbs in the 20 gallon bit and have my male guppies in one of the 10 gallons and then have a betta in the other 10 gallon section. what do you think to this plan is there anything I need to change or will this work. thank you in advance.

I can't really provide any advice on this topic. But I wanted to say I love the design and can't wait to do something similar to this. Good luck man!

How much space between the top of the 40 and the bottom of the frame? Make sure you have enough clearance for cleaning tools. How do you plan on refilling after water changes? Thing I hate most of my stacked twenties is trying to pour water in after vacuuming.

There will be a 9 inch gap between the top of the tank and the bottom of the frame. I have got a water pump I use to refill my tanks
