Tall Tank Owners Please Weigh In!

if you like angelfish go with a tall tank. I got a 4x2x2.5 with 8 angels. I find that taller tanks are more appealing and great for show tank. I also have a 4x3x2 with a flowerhorn. If you choose to have a long fish, get a tank with a huge footprint.

I have a silver in my 29 high. Does well. Has territory marked out. Very social with me...will eat out of my hand. Angel, 9 Black Neons, 6 Albino Corys, and 5 Nerites.

Gotta say I love the look of the taller tanks. Tanks longer than 4 feet that are less than 2 feet tall just start looking weird at some point. But I can see where people struggle with maintenance. My 60 gallon is 24 inches (26 including the rim) tall and I can just barely reach the bottom, and I am 6 feet tall. I'd love to get a 4 or 5 foot tank that's 30 inches high, but I'd have to take my shirt off and maybe go swimming to reach the bottom, I'm guessing, no matter how short the stand was!

Lol. No. Never owned a goldfish. It is fat though. Only feed 6 new life spectrum community pellets/day. They are small.
