Would you classify my betta as a rosetail?
Yeah, don't bother with the label imo. Lets wait a month or 2 for his fins to grow out k?
From what I see, I'm thinking
Super-delta (or HM) with dumbo(large pectoral fins) in which case hed be a rose normally.
Dumbos (elephant ears) are becoming more common in the chain stores now. If you can get an upclose and clear pic of the edge of his tail I can get you a positive ID on tail type.
Looking like a HM to me, rose tail.
Any particular reason? Just be careful and know your genetics, its not as simple as just having some extra webbing, there is also a more sinister side to the RT genetic structure, never buy a rose tail that looks to extreme like
or
Both fish show X-factors(shabby fins, uneven scales, etch), which are a side effect of over doing the rose tail(becomes Feather tail) which is not healthy for the fish.
Oh no, I mean hes fine, he looks good. I was just referring to when buying, avoid over bred rose tails.
Same here, my Sol is only 1.5" long, compared to my others he is tiny.
