There's really no distinction between so called root feeders and water column feeders, plants are opportunistic and will take in both. And having both will allow for the greatest amount of nutrient uptake, so having both is best. Although flourish liquid basically doesn't contain NPK macros, which are really crucial to plant growth.

I bought the seachem flourish. Going to use both.
Use up the Flourish Comp ferts, but they do lack micros as Wraithen is saying. The tabs contain micros I guess, butt not the liquid stuff. Get Thrive or Profito next time. They are an all-in-one water fert. I'm just starting with water ferts too, but missing a nutrient or two impedes other nutrients from being used. Probably a word for that lol!

So I see Profito is only available out of country. I’m going to try Thrive. One quick question. Is it possible to over dose this stuff? A combination of tabs and thrive safe for the fish? Thanks

A combination is just fine, but follow directions on the bottle for dosing.

Do I dose thrive right after water change or is it better to wait?

I might wait an hour after using dechlorinator. I have no idea if it matters, but Prime interferes with some meds.

It wont matter. Whatever prime may bind to, it will release after a couple of days. I've never noticed ill effect.
