I'm doing a planted 30 gallon tank and was wandering if I should go with Seachem tablets or the seachem liquid dosing stuff. i'm only on a budget of $25 and was going to get API CO2 booster.

Well if you have root feeding plants then you should use tabs. For water column feeding plants liquid.

I use the Flourish Liquid and it works really good in my planted tank. I get mine in Petco cause that’s the only pet store around.

Save your $25 and get Nilocg Thrive and Nilocg root tabs. It'll set you over budget a little, but both flourish and the root tabs don't contain enough macronutrients, especially NPK. I cannot stress the importance of reading the nutrient analysis of any fertilizer enough. Also, the Nilocg root tabs are $0.23 each, and Seachem root tabs are $0.80 each, for less nutrients. The API CO2 booster is not really CO2 and isn't very effective, like all other carbon boosters out there.

I looked over your other thread, dwarf hairgrass is a medium-difficult plant and likes a soil substrate and ideally injected CO2. What substrate and light are you using?
