Swordtail X Platty

Will it work ? Is it safe? Will my fish die if I do this?

 

You can but they will be mostly swordtail. post pictures or start a thread of them growing up if you do it.

 

deformities can happen, some off spring might live idk
but it can/could work
I have not crossed mine.

 

I've only done it once. all but one were healthy (it never grew a fin and couldn't swim so I had to euthanize it ) it was a while ago like 2 or 3 years ago, I no longer have them but they looked like a swordtail with wider fins
