How large is the tank, and how did you acclimate him when you got him home? Changing tanks can be traumatic for fish, and can cause unseen health issues to explode suddenly. He may have experienced physical trauma while the store was catching and bagging him. If the tank is too small, or it was a long drive home (2+ hours) there may have been an ammonia build up in the bag, releasing that into the rest of your tank can start a chain reaction of health issues.

However, to start, tell us everything you can about your tank - size, filter, temperature, what products you use to treat the water. If you have a test kit, what are the readings?

Oh, and most stores have a 72-hour return policy or longer. If you still have the remains, you might try to get a refund.

I don't know much about my aquarium.
There is no filter in my aquarium. I change the water manually in 4-5 day. Size is not big. And It just take 15 min to reach home from thw fish store .

Same thing happened to my silver Molly fish. Once she was in she stayed at the bottom of the tank moving little by little until she died in a artificial plant

You need a filter, and a heater unless you have the tank in a room that remains at a constant 78ish degrees. Without a filter, even with weekly water changes, you're overstocked, and your water is toxic. Read up on the nitrogen cycle., there should be a link to follow. Do you have a measuring tape? If you measure the sides of the tank, I can quickly tell you the size of the tank. Consider purchasing a filter and heater today, or as soon as you can, or you will experience more deaths.

I highly recommend upgrading to at least a 20 gallon long... That is just too small for the fish you have... In the meantime I would be doing water changes every day!

I have swordtails, I only add water to my planted tanks they are in (save the backlash)

(water changes I feel are only needed if there is a die off and the fish are sitting in the tank a day or 2, so unlikely..)
or use RO for new tanks ;d

filters, heaters and lights are good things to have to keep happy-ish fish me thinks
Swordtails are hardy fish, iv noted mot my LPS will exchange, tho I dont...
maybe when trying to introduce new fish, remember your tank water is more than likely different than the store's water.
so maybe next time empty the water into a jug to where u can drip water from the tank to the fish, at least 2/3 the amount of water that is with the fish, then temp it in for 30 or so mins and release..
I let the slow drip take at least an hour or so for fish..
