Switching Dwarf Gourami For Honey?

I have a Dwarf Gourami in my 20 gallon tank. I've been doing some research and some sites have been saying they can sometimes get aggressive. I was wondering if I should switch my dwarf gourami now with a honey gourami so there's no chance of him attacking my rasboras when they are added in? Should I switch him or he'll be fine?

Should I switch him? My DG is already in the tank so the rasboras are going in after him.

 

I'm in no way an expert, but would removing the DG (for a short time), rearranging the tank, adding the rasboras, and then re-introducing the DG limit aggression or make it seem like he's going into their territory?

I did this when adding my angels and there have been no issues with fin nipping as there were previously.

 

Kelcey it could work. But I would suggest adding more decorations to confuse the DG along with rearranging decorations them placing the DG back in a few hours after the rasboras.

 

I think the territorial behaviour of gouramis is a bit different than the one of cichlids.
DG's mostly only show this when in matingmood. I'd try to keep the water cooler so that's not triggered. Beautiful fish !!!
