Hi, I'm not sure with mollies as I haven't had them in years but I know that with platys they actually can have 3+ pregnancies from one insemination.

Could you post a photo? They shouldn't be that big overnight even when they are Prego. She will give birth for at least six months every month to 50-100 fry after there last contact with a male. A few questions.
Is it cycled
What are the parameters
What size tank
What other fish
How long have you had all of them
Any new additions
What's the temp

hI I think its a 30 gallon hexagon fish tank I have 2 adult girl black mollies and ive had 2 batches of babies but which one it was I'm not sure both times as they both identical I also have 3 female baby black mollies 2 ballon mollies and 4 guppies - the tanks been up and running 4 months now so should be cycled waters all tested fine - I do regular water changes every 1-3 days - shes defo pregnant just surprised me proper ill get a photo now x

She probably gave birth but all the fry were eaten. I'd not save any fry, your pretty much stocked and you'll quickly be overrun with fry. In the last photo she looks like she would give birth within a week, probably 1-3 days.

that's n but I set up another empty tank around a month ago I also have a contact that buys them of me so I'm not worried about over stocking but normally I do have a few babies left after they give birth be a new one to have them all eaten :/ tbh they don't bother with fry there quite good if you know what I mean x
