Supplemental Feeding?

I have two nerites in my 5 gallon tank and I'm wondering if I need to supplement their diet and how to know when I should do so.

I wouldn't say my tank is especially dirty and I don't have an algae problem by any means. They have eaten the haze of the new driftwood and cruise around the glass and hardscape, I'm just concerned that they're getting enough food.

How can I tell if they're getting enough or the tank has enough in there to support them? I have algae wafers for them if I need to supplement.

Honestly...nerites can be picky. You can try snail jello, cucumbers, zucchini, or algae wafers. I have tried everything but the wafers and only a few nerites ate. I'm going to be trying out a frozen herbivore cube called Emerald Entree and see if they like it.
It's a 50/50 shot with them. You can put something in the tank and see if they like it or not.

I found one of my MTSs munching on the algae wafer I put in the tank last night but couldn't tell if Julian or Gary took to it or not.

I guess I will have to try other options to make sure they're getting enough.
