Does my pleco have a defective pectoral fin? Maybe a genetic defect because both pecs have a bend in them but right fin is worse.
They never straighten but he seems to be able to swim fine.

With long finned varieties the fish are inbred pretty severely so some bends in their fins is pretty common. It won't cause harm to the pleco, he'll be fine with it.

I was hoping it wasn't painful. He was only an inch when I got him maybe 3 months ago and he's really growing fast. It was only recently that I could even notice this.
I was lamenting maybe I injured him during a cleaning .
