Sunken belly Bolivian Ram

Hi, I have my ram in my 10g hospital. Two weeks ago I pulled him out of my main tank when I saw his belly being sunk in.
It is still sunk in, this is what I have done so far with no success.

I've been feeding him peas/zucchini and pebbles.

water parameters
ammonia = 0
nitrite = 0
nitrate - 5ppm

Week 1: Treated aquarium with primafix...nothing changed but his colors are beautiful and aside from his belly seems healthy.
Week 2: Treated aquarium with melafix and added alder cones .....still nothing has changed.

What should I do here?
He seems to be eating, has energy and I just don't know what else to do.

Thanks

What are the 'pebbles' you refer to?

I have actually not payed attention to that....I will start now and report back.

I also assumed internal parasites which is why I did the melafix/primafix/alder cone treatment.

I generally feed them a wide variety of food, blood worms, brine shrimp, peas, flakes and zucchini. Since they have been in the hospital I've kept it to the bug pellets and peas.

No problem. Wouldn't hurt to expand the hospital menu.

Is he doing any better? I am praying for your fish.

Sadly no, passed away this morning.
So strange I treated him, he looked fine but just was never gaining weight....

And I had just gotten him a GF not too long ago (she was quarantined before going in the main tank)

I am looking into other treatments now for future issues like this.

Thanks for checking up
