So I’m setting up my sump it’s a eshopps r-300 and I just wanted to know how do I go about filling the sump do I fill it up separate from the tank or allow the tank to overflow until it fills up the sump and at what point do I fill up the sump

Either way is fine. Whatever is easier.

Well you need enough to run ypur pump and skimmer but you want it low enough that if you simulate a power outage your sump doesn’t over flow. You want to simulate a power outage before one happens.

First one is pump running, second is off. Not sure if you can see the difference.

Is your sump kind of noisy I don’t have as much water where the filter sock is as you and that maybe why mine is making as much noise as it is
