Suggestions 30 gallon long lighting

Ok so I have an Aqueon 30 gallon long fish tank that I'm going to have live low maintenance plants in. The light that came with it is on the very low side for lighting other than to just see the fish. As I've been told by other members and from what I've looked up myself.

There just seem to be so many options. So I need some suggestions for lighting that would be good for not only visibility but obviously good for low maintenance plants.

I have a versa clear top for my tank if that makes any difference in the lighting choices.

-Thanks

Ok so after looking into it some more I decided to go with the finnex stingray light fixture that another member told me about in another thread. So if a mod or someone could could delete this thread that would be great. Thanks!

If it's not to late.. finnex 247 is a great candidate, I have both a stingray and 247. The 247 is on my 30l, dimmed down for the setup. Great led.

Nice tank ya got there! I saw some people mention the planted plus and the planted plus 24/7 like you have. Some were saying it's too much light for low lights plants and will cause an algae bloom if you're not using co2. Your tank looks great though. Are you saying it can be dimmed for low light plants? If so I didn't know that. Is there a big difference between the regular stingray and the planted plus 24/7 you have?

I left that out, sorry, while it is dimmed on a custom setting (lowest really). I do run a modified pps fertilizer regiment and 3bps of pressurized co2.

Yeah I ordered the regular stingray which I think will be just fine for the type of plants I'll have. If I do end up deciding I want to move up to the next level with the plants I would definitely consider the light you have.

The planted + is a step up from the stingray and the ray2 is above that. I own all 3 in different lengths. Ray2 is by far my favorite

I have a 20" stingray suspended over a 20 long at roughly 16" from substrate. Low tech tank, still get a little algae but that's flow related. Apisto don't appreciate high flow so they win..

Yeah I've been looking into them all. I guess I'll maybe update my lighting if I ever decide to go to Medium or even high light plants. So many choices lol

Yeah I think the Stingray should definitely be fine after all the stuff I looked into. I guess I'll find out.
