Suddenly Bent

My friend ask me to post this about her fish. She has a Dalmatian Molly that shes had for well over a month. It is a full grown. The other day she noticed it was bent and swimming poorly. I believe it has a parasite or bacterial infection. What can cause a Molly to suddenly become bent after being normal for a long time? I know TB is a possibility but heard it's rare in home aquariums. I don't usually own mollies so I dont know a whole lot about diseases they get.

Sometimes difficult pregnancies can cause a bent spine in livebearers.

I guess there could be babies, but I know it is the only Molly in the tank. I dont know how long they carry their babies before they are born. It was fine and normal swimming last week though and shes had it for a while.
