My partner and I recently got hold of Bambino, and love him dearly. But we're realizing that the reddish substrate we have clashes terribly with his color, and we'd either way like to switch from gravel to sand. It's a 14g planted tank. What we can't decide on is the color of the substrate. He wants a more typical tropical beach sand beige, while I'd like black or grey, leaning more towards grey. Just something that will make Bambino and the plants pop. I also have 4 nerite snails, but they don't mind sand as far as I've learned. Any thoughts?
