Struggling Rummynose Tetra

freshwaterninja

Howdy,

I have a rummynose tetra that has separated itself from the school; not interested in food; not swimming erratically; rapidly opening and closing mouth. Anybody have any ideas about what’s going on? Just did a water change today (30%). Before the water change, parameters were 0 ppm ammonia, 0 ppm nitrite, and <10 ppm nitrate, same parameters after water change but nitrates are about five or less ppm. It’s a 55 gallon tank, water temp is 79 F; there’s a school of cardinals, shoal of kuhlis, a school of rummynose, and a pair of dwarf gouramis. No other fish seems to be affected, all of them are eating well and swimming fine.

Sady it seems like I can’t post videos on here
