Striped raphael catfish not getting any food

I have a 2" tiger oscar, and a 3" jack dempsey both in a 55 gallon growout tank with a massive 7.5" long striped raphael catfish. I feed the jack and the oscar their normal cichlid pellets, and I drop the catfish pellet down and they still get the catfish pellet. I'll even put a tube down to the raph's face, blow out a pellet, and the catfish won't touch it and 3 seconds later the jack will get it. how do I solve this without the cichlids getting the pellet? oh by the way, I even feed the catfish right before bed because they are nocturnal, but then I look over at the tank, and the dempsey has a catfish pellet in his mouth. thanks guys

Would you be able to target feed frozen food with spear or turkey baster? You could also try the repashy that you boil and then make into cubes/pices yourself. Might be easier/more appitizing for him to eat that right away and easier to target feed than the pellets.

see if I used the turkey baster, the oscar would follow the tip down to the bottom and get the bloodworms when they come out at the bottom

I end up using pvc pipe and run the food down the pipe directly into the log that my raphael frequents but whenever I use fluval bug bites he literally comes out from wherever he's hiding to eat with the other fish. Its the only thing that gets him out. That and when my pleco wants to trade hiding spots and bothers him til he moves

The same problem I have with tin foil barbs and sliver dollars they eat so fast it'll make you dizzy, and other fish don't get much food. what seemed to work pretty good is I feed them on one side of the tank and while there eating I quickly shut the light and toss some pellets on the other side of the tank and make sure they sink ,then open the light back on and continue feeding them on on top while the cat fish gets the pellet, if they keep eating on the top they stay focused on that area, they still might get to the pellets after but the cat fish already eating .

I can confirm this method also. I will sometimes feed my oscars on the opposite side of my catfish but eventually my Oscars go over to them and try to join in whatever they are eating but by then my catfish ate something. I leave the rest up to their late night scavenging.
