So recently my goldfish has been moving a lot less than it usually does and when I took a closer look at it I saw a brown-ish string hanging from the anus. I did my research and found that this is most likely a Camallanus worm. When I was looking for treatements I looked back at the fish and the worm was less than half the size it was before. I look back again later and the worm is completely gone. What does this mean? Was it even a worm or just waste? Did the worm enter the fish's body or something.
