*Edit:* I'm now dedicating this thread to a discussion about how dangerous stress can be to a fish. My lion was an example of how stress can easily become too much for some fish.

I got a dwarf zebra lionfish yesterday that is about 3.5" long that is currently in QT to later be added to my 250L (60g) mixed reef. He is very reluctantly eating feeder fish that I have gut loaded on Marine pellets and brine shrimp soaked in Continuum Garlic-Viv. I read that they prefer to eat shrimp so I am going to try that but I wanted to know if anyone had any tips for feeding these guys because I want him to be hunting on his own instead of me having to net feed him before I let him out into the main tank.

I'm still going to keep this thread up for future reference but for no explainable reason the lionfish died about 45 minutes ago. He was fine and swimming around about 2 hours ago and I just found him cold dead on the bottom. I'm yet to test the water.
