Strawberry Red Peacock Cichlid Question

Ok my question is can 1 or more Strawberry Red Peacock Cichlid's be kept in a 27 gallon aquarium with a pair of blue german rams?

My male ram is fairly large, the female is younger.

Tank is 28.5 inches by 12.5 inches (L x w) is this tank size appropiate and can the two types of Cichlids cohabitate?

LFS has one and I like the colour of the fish it really pops. Its a rare order for them and its the last possibly for a while.

Absolutely not.

Peacocks would kill them. Peacocks need a minimum of 55 gallons, and should only be kept with either other African Cichlids, or large fish that would be able to defend itself. I have a Peacock only tank, and you’re supposed to overstock them even with other Peacocks to cut down aggression.

Also, Peacocks like hard, high PH water.

The solid orange one killed his brother, so I'd also advise against getting two of any color.

Doesn’t look very overstocked, your specific problem is too many different species and size differences. The idea is to spread out to aggression, and you can clearly see who the solid orange sees as a threat. If you had more bright colored Peacocks of the same size they won’t just go after one of them all day.
