So I bought an angelfish from my local pet store, when I picked it out I never noticed the spot and it looks somewhat raised and gray on the fishes right side, I thought that maybe my Chinese algae eater did it but after doing some research I think it might be a disease, the fish eats just fine and the 29 gallon tank only has the angelfish and the algae eater in it, I've had an aquarium for about 3 months now and never encountered anything like this before, please help

That looks like the wound might have been inflicted by a Pleco.

Keep an eye on it. May be Chinese algae eater. If the angel gets more it’s the cae. Closer picture would help.
