So I've had my pink long fin for probably around 1.5 years and within the last week or so I've watched this growth appear on his(colored eyes so I'm assuming it's male) side bottom fin right close to his body. It doesn't seem to be affecting him physically nor have I noticed any lethargy or sickly behavior. I'm just curious if anyone is familiar with something like this or have an idea of what it may be and/or how to treat it if it is curable. I've tested the water and all readings were within the normal ranges with the exception of the water hardness, but that is only slightly above range. And that's with cycling my tanks with aquarium water softner, there's just crazy hard water where I live. So I have a few pictures of the growth as it currently looks. It's like clearish bubbles with a dark spot that just came up in the middle area of the mass. Any ideas or knowledge/experience on the subject would be appreciated. Thanks guys!
