Storeing LIve rock

I am getting a used tank on Friday, I don't plan on setting it up till I move in august(to good of a deal couldn't pass up) it has 30 lbs of livesand and 40 lbs of live rock. what would you recommend for me to do with the live rock and sand between now and then. Can I just put it into 5 gal buckets to keep it alive? or will I have to run a pump/heater inside of it? or should I just setup the tank and let it run for the time being?

or should I just let it dry out then re cycle it?

hhmm a bit of a predicament you are in here. I personally would fill the tank enough to submerge the rock, then add a heater. It should be fine like that. Though you may want a powerhead, I think this will become an opinion thing and some will say you don't need one. But I don't think it will make much of a difference, the temperature and keeping it in water are the most important parts. I would not advise drying it then recycling it just to avoid the hassle of doing so.
Maybe someone else will chime in so you have multiple opinions on adding powerheads.
Also I would not advise adding fish if you are moving soon. But if you do I would do something cheaper and hardier just so you don't risk killing a more expensive, less hardy fish.
Best of luck.

I'm not adding anything no plans on that at all, it's an all in one system with a built in sump, so I guess the best option is just fill it up and let it run?

I mI guess it will be a good test run to see if anything is malfunctioning before I put anything expensive int there
