I might be getting a 55 gallon tank soon!!! so, my plan is, i move my current community fish from my 20 gallon(1 dg, 4 guppys, 6 neon tetras, 6 corydoras) to that and add more fish. i was thinking a cockatoo cichlid and a peacock gudgeon, but it has so much space to work with i don't have any more ideas! any of you?

I would add like 6 more cories and neon tetra's, so they have more to group with.

I agree with Sarah78, you should add more cories and neons before adding any other fish.
    So maybe something like this?
1x Male Dwarf Gourami (assuming yours is male)
    4-5x Male Guppy
    15-20x Neon tetra
    8-13x Cory's
(I'm not experienced with the other two fish you named off so I can't help you there)

Yes, the dwarf is male. I thought some more earlier, and i was thinking of expanding the schools to eight, getting four ghost shrimp (for my siblings), and then getting the cockatoo and gudgeon. all this over a long period, after the tank is cycled.
