I have a full grown angelfish, honey gourami, and rainbowfish, but the rainbowfish are getting rehomed because of nipping, could I risk getting another small angelfish or should I stick to a school of rummynose instead of the 6 rainbowfish/ or another suggestion

I just noticed it says that in the title! Sorry, I often don’t pay attention to these things...

Ok. You can easily fit more rummy noses in there; I’d say up to 15 tetras along with the one angelfish and honey gourami. Honey gouramis like to be in a group with a male to female ratio of 1:2/3.

Why not go for a deeper bodied tetra than the rummy noses? Such species (to name a few) include:

- Serpae tetra
- Black skirt tetra
- Bleeding heart tetra

I feel these tetras would be more resistant to the angelfish should it choose to act in an aggressive manner at times.
