I haven't make up my mind yet. I want cardinal but also like rummy nose tight school. I would also like to add a single ram if possiblefishlover001 said:I would say probably about 20-25ish, if that was all you had In there. It also depends upon what type of filtration you have or will have in your tank, and if you were to have other fish in there.
And Rummynose Rasboras are a thing, they are just a lot less known about then the tetras
I didn't say he should, just could (IMO), & he certainly can't if he's going to stock Cardinals & a Ram as well.Sarah73 said:Going to 40 is a terrible idea. Just because you have plenty of filtration doesn't mean you can put as many fish as you want. The tank is only so big.
I heard rams are aggresive toward each other especially male. also I don't want them to breed. I would like to keep only a single ramSarah73 said:20 rummy nose tetras and 2-4 rams if you want
That combo would make you about 70% stocked depending on your filtration.axel said:25 cardinals and 1 ram? would this do?
My filtration rate 7x tanks volume / hourSeasoldier said:That combo would make you about 70% stocked depending on your filtration.
A good turn over of water for a 35g is around 4x (140gph) so you're well filtered at 7x (245gph) even if the flow is reduced a bit by pipe bends / elbows & filter media.axel said:My filtration rate 7x tanks volume / hour
20 tetras 1 rams and few cories? you sure?Sarah73 said:You could do that plus add a few cories.
