After my new 10 gallon sprang a leak yesterday, I went out and picked up a used acrylic 55 gallon hex aquarium with an Aqueon Flow 50 LED Pro filter. It's 24 inches tall and each side is about 14.5 inches wide. I need some suggestions for stocking! I currently have 6 CPDs that I'm going to re-home. I also have two Threadfin Rainbowfish that I'd like to make an even 6 (or maybe just 5). The only fish that I am set on getting is maybe 3 Blue or Bolivian Rams, and some guppies (maybe 6 males--my son really liked them). I'd like to get as colorful/striking fish as possible. I also have some red and Amano shrimp. Thanks in advance!

According to your measurements its 21.8 gallons so either you were told wrong or measured wrong.

No, I put it into a calculator. It's 14.5 inches each side, but there's 6 sides. So it gave me like 56 gallons, which I'm rounding down to 55.
