Stocking Biocube For Freshwater

So I got a free Biocube 14 and as much as I would love to set up a SW tank right now I just don't have the time to maintain it with a 2 year old running around the house.

That being set I want to set it up as a FW tank right now. I need suggestions as far as what to put in the filtration compartments for a FW setup?

Planning on some basic beginner tropical fish and some live plants after setup.

    Welcome to fishlore!

Unfortunately that tank doesn't have great dimensions for stocking fish.

    Here are a few options

    1) The easiest
    1 betta
1-2 nerite snails (once your tank starts getting algae)
8 Amano shrimp (your betta may or may not be fine with them. Wait 2-3 months after cycling before adding these guys)

    2) Pretty and active
    8-10 celestial pearl danios
    2 peacock gobies
    1 nerite snail
    1 mystery snail

    3) Beautiful invertebrates
    10 chili rasboras
    2 sparkling gouramis
10 red cherry shrimp, blue velvet shrimp or other colour variant (Wait 3 months after cycling before adding)
2 rabbit snails (make sure to feed these guys vegetables)
    1 nerite snail

    4)
    10 ember tetras
    2 Endlers
10 red cherry shrimp, blue velvet shrimp or other colour variant (Wait 3 months after cycling before adding)
2 rabbit snails (make sure to feed these guys vegetables)
    1 nerite snail

Thank you for the suggestions! I wasn't planning on putting much in there lol. Any suggestions for the filtration compartments for a FW conversion?
