My friend wanted Cons for his 55 and since he couldn't find any around his area I gave him mine.

Now since I have an empty tank I have a few stocking questions. I was thinking:

    6 glofish
    6 corys
    6 cardinal tetras
    6 guppys
    some ghost shrimp

I was also thinking about hatchet fish or cherry barbs.

Does anyone have some ideas? Is the list overstocked?

If it were me I wouldn't mix the active Danios with Cardinals and Guppys. Maybe that's just me. lol

I would do the Danios with Cherry Barbs (I have Glofish, Purple Passion Danios with Cherrys and they do well together, nice & colorful) they tend to hangout in the mid-bottom region of the tank, as the Danios are the upper-mid region. Corys would be your bottom dwellers.

    My thoughts:

    6 Glofish
    6 Cherry Barbs
    5 Corys

That would be a good initial stock, but in a 55 I would up the school sizes.

I think 10 corys, 10 cherry barbs, 10 gold barbs, and 10 danios.
