So I have a 36 gallon bowfront tank and currently it's empty, I have no idea what to stock it with, I wanted to keep 2 Ryukin Goldfish, but I'm starting to rethink that. I've kept Angelfish before, and only had 2 with some smaller fish too. I really don't know what I wanna put in the tank and I'm looking for ideas. Hopefully something interesting to watch swim and feed.

So I'm going to ask you a few questions before we start.
Anyway, what are the parameters, what is the length-width-height, and will you use live plants if so which will you use.

33 in x 17.5 in x 52 in, I have two amazon swords in there right now. Nothing else is in there because I was preparing for 2 ryukin goldfish and I was finding that they don't need a lot of decor because they can run into things. But I'm having second thoughts about getting goldfish, and thinking moving back into a community style.

The pH and water parameters I am not so sure about, I just went to have my water tested and was told that my nitrates are a bit high as well as my water being a bit acidic, so I've done a water change and will take it in tomorrow and see what needs to be done, I can't get that kit they sell at PetSmart yet, but I am looking to invest in that.

if your dimensions are what you say they are then you have a 130-gallon tank

Ok, I like that, I've had gouramis and don't want to do them again, maybe I could do 1 Angelfish?

the angelfish would eat them when it gets bigger and these gouramis are very peacful and only get about 3 inches long

Really, I had 2 Angelfish before with some rasboras and glolight tetras and they were fine.
