    hello.
can someone tell me what to stock in a cycled 20 gallon which has no fish other than a BN pleco. Also i plan on keeping a single fish which is interactive to its owner. (pls do not give names of schooling or small fish). medium sized fish are fine

Maybe some platies or a honey gourami...those are the only medium non schooling fish I can think of right now.

Not sure if it's interactive, but it is definitely awesome. Bristlenose plecos stay smaller than common plecos, around 4-5 inches.

Is this a 20g long or high?

Rams, apistos, african butterfly cichlids, and dwarf acaras (laetacara spp.) Would all be good candidates. I've found bolivian rams and african butterfly cichlids to be especially interactive.

Yeah they are. I have a trio and they are always exploring and friendly and overall just a great community fish.

Honey gouramis and bolivian rams are both great options.

I've fed my DG from my finger... he likes to investigate things (slowly investigate), and knows when it's food time, and will run away from my camera. Pretty entertaining.

ETA that's him in my avatar, he photobombed first and then ran away

Yes, that should be fine, however I wouldn't get any cichlid larger than a bolivian ram.
