Hello All!
I’m fairly new to having my own aquarium but I have worked at an aquatic store for a while so I know what I like. I’m just asking for more input.
So I getting a 40 gallon breeder and it will be well planted around the back and sides with ground cover at the front.
My question is will these fish work together:
2 Blue Rams
2 Koi Angelfish
5 Coridoras
5 Congo tetras
If the Congo’s don’t work then I would get
5-6 red minor tetras

What do you think??

I'd make it six corydoras. Then like being in sizable groups.
Just be wary that some Angels are a bit more aggressive and may pick on the tetras.

I will warn that once the Rams reach maturity, and they decide to breed, they may pick on the Corys. They get defensive of wherever they plan to have their eggs. More chasing them away than actively picking on them. So if you see that, don't worry about it.

I plan on having plenty of hiding spaces around the tank. So hopefully that will help alleviate that possible issue.
