    Hi guys:;hi2,
I am super excited!:) I am going to get a 350 gallon tank!:;banaman However, I can only set it up in November when my exams are over.:(I always plan ahead, so what do you guys think i should get?
    Here are some details.

    Filter:
    1.sump
    2.2 eheim classic 650

    Dimensions:
    6'x3'x3'

    Water ph:
I can adjust to the fish needs

    Heating:
No heater as the temp here is 30 degree celsius all year round

    Questions:
1.What fish should I get? I would like predatory fishes. Would a tiger shovelnose catfish, clown knifefish and a oscar work? Do they get too big? Do they get along?
2.What size should the sump be? I want as big as possible? Will a 200 gallon sump work(too big?)

    Thanks in advance:;thx

Your are one lucky person. Now for the fish, you could get a school of red belly piranhas. They are predatory fish:). The fish you have chosen, i haven't had any experience with, so I can't help you with that. You could also have a knife fish. Sumps I don't use, so maybe someone else can help you with.

I wanted a school of piranhas but I think they are illegal here in Singapore. Thanks anyways. :)

Will a clown knifefish get to big for the tank?

Do you want a clown knife fish? And no it isn't to big for your tank. They get 35-40 inches. What about hujeta gar?

I wouldn't do a shovelnose cat - they can get longer than the tank is wide. Same with the clown knifefish.

    You could do oscars though?

    Do you like silver dollars?

I would start with an Asian arowana and build my stock around it. Or maybe a midsized Channa.

Oh, then the clown knifefish and and tsc is out. I don't think I can get a gar as non of my lfs carry them. I think I will do a north American cichlid tank with oscars ..Any good tankmates for oscars and how many of them (ocars and tankmates)? And is a 200 gallon sump ok?
    Thanks:;thx

You could get away with as small as 100 gallons for the sump. I would definitely do a sump opposed to a can, especially since your considering oscars. You could do some ornates bichirs maybe even some endis and delhizi. Or some narly eels.

It depends on if you only want rainbows. It also depends on the kind you want. Do you just want one kind of species or a mix of them?

I would go with mbunas in that size tank you could have 6-7 groups of them in ratios of 1m to 6/7females..
