I recently purchased a stripped peacock eel but i need help feeding it. the people at my local fish store said that he will small fish gohst shrimp and any small food that will fit in its mouth.so i put small feeder fish and the shrimp in but i don't know if he is eating the food and he doesn't eat the pellets(so i wasted $3). I drop the pellets right above him and he doesn't seem to want them.
So what do i do

Everything I have read says they come out at dusk or dark to forage for food. also that they will eat small worms(blood worms, earthworms, glass worms etc.). So maybe if you drop food in at lights out he will find it. You may even have to sprinkle a pinch of food on the surface to attract the other fish so he can have a chance to find his food. Feeder fish frequently carry disease so they really aren't recommended for food.
You've really got a mix of fish there
