I feed mine Mysis and Brine shrimp all the time. Usually 3, once a day.
Both of my bettas get brine shrimp along with pellets to off set their blood worms, so I say go ahead and try. 2-3 per meal is about what I do.
When I first fed my bettas brine shrimp, they hated it. I added some Garlic Guard to them and now they all love it. Only my rescue betta loved it the first time.
Have you tried mixing up your feeding patterns? Something I noticed with one of my bettas is he gets tired and bored of doing and eating the same thing everyday over and over. When I start to see him get bored, I like to switch things up with new food, or do a rearrangement of his tank. He really seems to enjoy it when I surprise like this and its fun to watch
I'm using Omega One Betta Buffet pellets right now and I know New Life Spectrum is a good brand. I've also heard a lot of good things about Fluval Bug BitesI tried a different pellet food yesterday and he seemed to like it. He kept most of it down and only spit out a tiny bit of the last one I gave him. If you have any suggestions as far as food goes I’m looking for new ideas.

I don't because they don't soak up a lot of water. I left some pellets in a cup of tank water overnight and they were only a tiny bit bigger the following morning.Do you soak the Betta Buffet pellets before you feed them? If so about how long? I bought some NLS Betta pellets but they are huge. I was afraid they wouldn’t be able to eat them.
this is what I feed my bettas daily and they love it! I have not used any pellets in ages or freeze dry food, don't like to use that at all. This is all ive used for all my fish and they all love it.

I don't suck them because they aren't pellets. So it won't expand or anything. And I just do small pinch. Just as much as they would eat in a few minutesOh that looks like good stuff. I’ll give it a try thank you for the recommendation, it’s much appreciated. Do you soak them before feeding them or just feed them straight?

I'm sure he will! Keep us postedOk great thanks so much. Crossing my fingers he will like it.
If you are able to provide him with any live food, that might get his appetite going. I do blackworms and sometimes baby brine shrimp if I have extra, and my son’s betta loves both.

Its perfectly normal, especially since its a new food that they are trying. Also Bug bite assuming you bought the “small bite” one, like the name says, its pretty small so you don't have to worrySo he loves them! He didn’t spit any out at all a begged for more when he was done. He chews it up quite a bit before he swallows it. Is that normal? Just want to make sure it’s not hurting him. Does your Betta chew it too?

Not at all lol trying to help as much as I canYeah I bought the small version. Just wanted to make sure he’s not hurting his mouth. I’m so glad he didn’t spit any out. Your a life saver.

maybe just feed him once a day from now on.
having less meals, his appetite will be better when you do feed him.
