    Hi there,

So, I have a female platy who's on her way out. She's been skinny since I brought her home, and while she behaved normally for several months, she's gotten lethargic lately and I want to euth before she gets her tankmates sick. In fact, I was going to do it yesterday, but had a badly injured platy bounce back rapidly so wanted to give it one more day after being "sure."

Here's the problem.... crayfish randomly molted last night. Skinny platy seems to know I don't want to bother him and is hiding right behind him.

So... pluck her out now and risk soft shell damage? Or wait til she floats and risk parasitic spread?

Could you lure her out with some food?
