starting to breedswords and need help

hiya ;D
I hav thought about it and I hav decided to start breeding swordtails. :I need to knw everything they need because I hav kept them but not breed them and I don't want to fail at this as I did with guppies.please tell me all information I will need to know. I don't hav any yet but will be buyin some.which ones are best to get(colour, size etc)?

which tank are you going to put them in?

hey the swords will be in the big tank for the moment but might go into the small when boesmanI go in large

 

so any ideas on this matter...please help with swords
