Starting a new tank help

I am gonna start getting together a 29 gallon tank and I want to know what kind of fish I could put in there? I want tropical freshwater fish but I want to know what would go best with my tank once I get it all good and running.

Your tank stock really varies on what you want to be as your "star" fish. Do you have one that you would like to have?

Also, do you want more like a school of fish, or several different types?

 

I do know about the cycle and all I work as a aquatic specialist at my job so I know how to do everything just the fish is my gray area and I want to have like several species just for variety and the star I want to be colorful I have a neon dwarf gourami in my 10 gallon that is my star but I want something really bright and color

 

Are you going to move your Gourami into the new tank?

 

No because I would like to have like different fish in my 29.
