Stand for the 29 Gallons

Anyone know of any good stands that would fit two 29 gallon aquariums? I ordered one from PetCo that I thought would work, but the bottom wasn’t wide enough to fit the 2nd one under. I don’t know if there is one out there, or if I will have to go to a 40 Breeder stand to fit two 30 inch tanks.

ideas?

you could make one if you or a friend have some wood. paint. probably some of that stuff that makes it water proof for splashes and what not. i asked about a stand and he offered to make me mine. and its super sturdy. you can probably make it as sturdy as you like. just an idea. sorry if that doesnt help

My brother can make me one, but I don't want to wait for him to do it. It will take him a year at the earliest haha. I need something like... yesterday lol.

I’ve found on Facebook marketplace there are several people in my area who do custom (but basic) tank stands. Perhaps there might be some in your area on there, or a similar platform?

I am in the exact same position! I purchased an Aqueon 29G for my first aquarium, but I am struggling to find a suitable stand. I'm hoping to find one that has closing doors underneath. I will let you know if I find anything.

I actually really like the Imagitarium Brooklyn stands at Petco for a 20 Long/29 Gallon, but it'll only hold one. If you're looking for a Stand that'll hold 2 Tanks, you're probably building that yourself.

Yeah I think that’s the one I bought. I thought it was big enough for two, but I was clearly wrong lol.

anyone use any of the Edsal stands? I see them on YouTube being used, but I don’t know which one as the videos are a bit old.

If you want something that can hold two why not do a 55g tank stand. There are 4ft long and will give you some length to spare so they arnt shoved up against each other. You could also just do 1 48” light for both the tanks. Just an idea. Definitely look for used stands, cheap what to get some.

No I have to have to fit it into a certain area. I already have the tanks, and one has been sitting on the floor, so I want to move it off. They need to be stacked, so one on the bottom and one on the top.

Ahh ok I get it. If you want them stacked you could also try a shelving unit. That’s what I’m planning to do with my tanks.

Do you think this might work?

Edsal 72 in. H x 36 in. W x 18 in. D 5-Shelf Steel Commercial Shelving Unit in Black-UR185L-BLK - The Home Depot

Obviously I only need two levels, so I wouldn't need all the parts.
I worry about the particle board and the lack of support in the middle though. (But I worry about everything so...)
Yeah I would guess so. It says when distributed evenly I can hold 4000 lbs. you could always replace the particle board with solid wood. That’s my plan when I do shelving but mostly for looks purposes.
