Spray bar and intake placement

Hi, I am wondering about the spray bar and intake placement! Right now I have the spray bar pointing from a short side to the other short side with the intake directly under
My thought is the water current hits the other end, rolls down the side across the bottom and the whole tank gets some water movement.
Another idea is that the intake and spray bar at on opposite sides the tank has turbulent areas and calm areas for fish to choose, or does it matter and I should just put them where they look best?

I would say it depends on the type of fish you are keeping. Some like a lot of movement, others not so much. Without knowing the kind of fish I would say go with the setup with the calmer setting.

Since the white clouds are normally kept as cool water fish, but will live at higher temps., it might be to their benefit to maximize turbulence in order to get more dissolved oxygen into the water.
Best to you, rick
