Spots After Adding Driftwood

I’ve been cycling a tank and yesterday I added some Malaysian driftwood. The next night (tonight) I saw all these weird little fuzzy ball things on the substrate. I’ll add pics

I haven’t come up with a full plan yet for cycling but I’m going to buy ammonia soon. The tank is just running with dechlorinated water as of now
