I saved a fish from a pet store back in November. He's much healthier now and is a fun little guy. I came back from a weekend away and noticed he looked a little more hunched on his back than normal so I went back in my camera roll to find some comparison pictures

    That's from around December/January

This is today. Is it possible for the deformity to get worse? I have no intentions on breeding but I want to make sure he's not uncomfortable or in pain. Swims good, eats good and is a total derp. Any help?

First thing that comes to mind is malnutrition.
    Especially Ascorbic Acid.

I definitely don't think he's malnourished. He eats a wide variety of frozen foods and high quality pellet food.

Bump, it hasn't gotten worse in the last month. At least I can't tell if it has. He's healthy otherwise, he just looks weird.

Can you tell me your tank size and water parameters? Also do his colours look faded? Hard for me to tell from the photo. :s
