"Spixie" snail?

So I got a new striped snail to replace mine that died and the store told me it wasn't a "plant safe" snail. I told them I had gotten mine ID'd as a mystery so that was odd. He told me it was actually a spixie snail? I have no clue what that is. Isn't this just a striped mystery? The one I had before mated with my black mystery so I'm not really sure what's up. Yeah, that part kind of sucks though. I wonder if they eat bladder snails? I'm having a bladder snail problem in my tank... I like my rams horns though! There's enough to go around I think and keep the population high probably :p

I suspect of they eat their own offspring and ramshorns, they'll eat bladder snails also. I would return it personally since you have a mystery snail (and a couple of my little ones soon), I would worry that it might try to eat them

I'll just move them to a different tank.

Went to a fish auction and got 4 more for a couple bucks! I'm going to put them in the 10 with cherry shrimp and fry. Maybe the babies will survive in there lol.

Does anyone have experience breeding them? I'm thinking if I just move the eggs before they hatch that will solve the cannibalism problems.

Yes, pond snails and bladder snails are Physa sp.

I'm thinking about moving my six over to my cherry tank. Do you guys think all the moss will help the offspring survive?
