I purchased it off of eBay from a driftwood dealer. Comes with a slated base to keep it immersed in the tank. Do I need to boil it first? I don’t mind tannins.

Thanks!

I didn’t boil mine and I didn’t find any pests or snails and it’s been about 6 months now! Had a lot of tannins but apparently my guppies and nerites enjoy the stuff
Edit: I bought mine off Etsy.

If you don’t mind tannins then go ahead and put it in! :)
