Speeding Up Brine Shrimp Growth?

Sage Exotics

I’m raising brine shrimp for some freshwater frogs, and I hate caring for these things. Every time I try to change the water I have to have fresh saltwater ready, another jar, and a cloth around that jar with a rubber band. I pour the tiny little shrimp onto the cloth, put the fresh salt water into their jar, let shake the cloth in their jar so they come off. I always loose some shrimp and a hate it. I don’t know why I hate doing it so much, it takes less time than a normal water change. So how can I speed up their growth? Is there any way? Increasing heat, increasing food, etc work?

Why don’t you get a brine shrimp net?

Food available 24/7... What are you feeding them?

I’m feeding yeast. It clouds up the water so much I hate raising these things.

Stop all bubbles and let shrimp settle to bottom.
Then you can either syphon the shrimp to new jar with fresh water or remove upper level of water without losing many shrimp at all.
Try adding one drop of liquid vitamins to food like Boyds Vita chem or American Marine Selcon[made especially for marine life and good stuff .]

When we were raising brine shrimp, we fed them phytoplankton with a squirt of liquid multivitamin. They grew really fast that way.
